The iICE® Validator is a series of EANnet certified tools that have been developed to assist organisations with data synchronisation with the EANnet data pool. For suppliers who are not using iICE Product Data Manager, the iICE Validator is a stand-alone software program that is designed to allow maintenance, validation and loading of product catalogue & pricing data to EANnet. These product/pricing catalogues are also known as PRICATs.

For suppliers who are already using iICE Product Data Manager, the iICE Adaptor is a fully integrated module that automatically configures any of the iICE PDM products to support data synchronisation for GS1net and also EANnet.

The iICE Validator Standard is a user-friendly data validation tool designed for suppliers to ensure that their EANnet Loadfile (IDF/PPF) is compliant with industry standards. It can also be used by companies that are beginning the data gathering and cleansing phase of their EANnet project, or are building their own EANnet integrated solutions. The user simply has to ‘load and review’ catalogue data with the intuitive graphical error logs and data integrity reports. Once data has been validated successfully, it can be uploaded to EANnet.

For suppliers who require more than just data validation, iICE Validator Plus provides the added advantage of catalogue maintenance to correct any errors found in their EANnet Loadfile. Once all errors have been corrected, and the file is fully validated, it can be uploaded to EANnet. Users can then view the Data Load Status Report (DLSR) online to ensure the process has been completed successfully.

iICE Validator Premium is a complete catalogue management system designed ideally for suppliers who need to maintain higher volumes of product data for EANnet (many hundreds of SKUs). Users can import an existing EANnet Loadfile for maintenance, or manually create EANnet catalogues with the user friendly graphical interface.

iICE Validator Premium can also be used by suppliers who trade a diverse range of products across multiple retail channels. For example, a pharmaceutical supplier may sell product through supermarkets, convenience stores, variety stores and pharmacies. As each channel may use a different subset of the EANnet attributes and rules, the Validator Premium tool allows selective data validation based on rules specific to a retail channel or industry vertical.
