PROBLEMS THAT WE SOLVE
Innovit’s suite of iICE products are designed to solve three types of problems associated with product Information management. Within any business enterprise, these problems create inefficiencies for operations on the 'Sales, Distribution and Marketing', 'Internal Data Synchronisation' and ‘Supply Chain and Procurement ’.
Sales, Distribution and Marketing - Publishing or printing of customised product catalogues for sales and marketing purposes in a variety of media, data formats and standards. Challenges include the tailoring of category hierarchies, product range and pricing, promotional and other relationship-specific content to recipients. Recipients or users of product catalogues include customers, consumers, resellers, trading exchanges, industry-specific catalogues & portals, commercial printers (CD Rom or Printed catalogues) and advertising agencies.
Internal Data Synchronisation - Ensuring the integrity, accuracy and relevance of product data for transaction processing and management reporting. The challenge is to ensure that product data is synchronised across legacy systems and application databases (such as ERP, CRM, POS, data warehouses, advertising databases, merchandising systems, web catalogues). The ideal is to provide workflow for ‘collaborative but controlled maintenance’ of product data and enabling personalised access to this data for users across all business functions and processes.
Supply Chain and Procurement - Improving supply chain integration with suppliers and vendors. The challenge lies in aggregating, cleansing, standardising, categorising and validating supplier product catalogues into useable product information for procurement systems and merchandising functions.
iICE® provides a platform for business enterprises to enhance their data management and cataloguing capabilities. It provides the functionality to link new and existing internal systems, trading partner systems, as well as integrating company procedures and workflow. As a result, data integrity is improved by eliminating the problems associated with product data that is not ‘synchronised’ across different business systems and processes. Additionally, employees obtain easy access to ‘personalised’ product information that enhances their productivity in the day-to-day tasks of product management, catalogue creation, sales and marketing. Why? Because these ‘product experts’ can have the right tools and the right information at their finger tips!
